Edits and Remix label of Rare Grooves, Disco, Funk, Soul, R&B, and House/Dance. The label is named after and in honor of the legendary Chicago nightclub "The Reactor", owned by legendary Chicago musician/DJ/promoter Fred Riley. 

The Reactor began what was known as Chicago's second wave of underground House Music/Culture. Fred Riley scoured the city looking for fresh raw DJ talent who played and sounded different and out of the norm, and found DJs in the likes of DJ Rush, Craig Alexander, Ron Trent, and DJ Jocko. These DJs introduced the mixing of rare and B-side Disco/R&B/Soul, House/Dance music, and raw self-produced beat tracks and edits of rare grooves, still in the tradition of flawless beat matching and blending skills.

Growing up with the beginnings and evolution of House Music, this Southside Chicago native Emil Gayles has been djing for 13 years, sharpening his mixing skills and getting more familiar with the musical and business side of the House scene in Chicago. Emil then moved on to music production, learning production, composition, and arrangement techniques under the instruction of pioneers Glenn Underground and Craig Alexander. Emil has been producing independently on his own for the last 2 years, compiling an arsenal of completed House, Deep House, Tech-House, Techno, and Lounge. He describes his music as ‘universal electronic soul’. Emil’s musical influences are Lil Louis, Larry Heard, Paul Johnson, Glenn Underground, Boo Williams, Craig Alexander, and Mello Sanders to name a few. After reconnecting with high school friend Allen Wright/DJ Al Groove who owns Rawhouse Records Chicago, Emil released his first debut e.p. , “The E.G. Orbital Experience E.P.” He describes the music on this release as deep, tech-house soul. Emil's second release on the Rawhouse Records imprint, “Emil Gayles” is another banger with a more tracky, soulful feel.
